Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Eldoret Town Center, head east on Kenyatta Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Uganda Road. Turn left onto Uganda Road and walk for about 500 meters. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the Eldoret-Kapsabet Road. Walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you see a sign for Kapsoya. Turn right onto Kapsoya Road and continue for about 700 meters. The Eldoret Nature & Culture Centre will be on your right, marked by a prominent sign.

  • Bicycle

    From the Eldoret Town Center, rent a bicycle and head east on Kenyatta Street. Continue until you reach the junction with Uganda Road, then turn left. Cycle along Uganda Road for 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto the Eldoret-Kapsabet Road and cycle for about 1.5 kilometers. Look for the Kapsoya sign, then turn right onto Kapsoya Road. Finally, cycle for 700 meters, and you will find the Eldoret Nature & Culture Centre on your right.

  • Public Transport

    From the Eldoret Town Center, locate the nearest matatu (shared taxi) stage. Board a matatu heading towards Kapsoya. Inform the conductor you want to get off at the Kapsoya Poa Place Gardens stop. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Once you alight, walk towards the entrance of the gardens, and you will find the Eldoret Nature & Culture Centre nearby.
