Getting There

• Walking

  Start from the Eldoret Town Centre, near the Moi University Eldoret Campus. Head northwest on Uganda Road. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Oloo Street. Turn left onto Oloo Street and walk for about 500 meters until you reach the junction with Kenyatta Street. Turn right onto Kenyatta Street and proceed for about 1 kilometer, passing by the Eldoret Sports Club on your left. Keep walking straight until you reach the junction with Kapsoya Road, where you will see signs pointing towards Kapsoya Hill. Turn left onto Kapsoya Road and walk approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will see the entrance to Kapsoya Hill on your right. Follow the path leading up to the hill.

• Public Transport

  From the Eldoret Town Centre, locate a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Kapsoya. These can usually be found near the main bus terminal. Board the matatu and inform the driver that you are going to Kapsoya Hill. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the nearest stop to Kapsoya Hill, which is typically near the Kapsoya Primary School. From there, walk approximately 500 meters on Kapsoya Road until you reach the entrance to Kapsoya Hill.

• Bicycling

  If you prefer to cycle, start from the Eldoret Town Centre and head northwest on Uganda Road. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Oloo Street and turn left. Cycle for about 500 meters on Oloo Street until you reach Kenyatta Street. Turn right onto Kenyatta Street and continue cycling for about 1 kilometer, passing by the Eldoret Sports Club. Keep straight until you reach Kapsoya Road, turn left, and cycle approximately 1.5 kilometers. The entrance to Kapsoya Hill will be on your right. Follow the designated paths to the top of the hill.
