For those using public transportation, start by taking a matatu (shared taxi) from Eldoret to Kapsowar. Once you arrive in Kapsowar, you may need to hire a local taxi or ask for a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you to the Tugen Hills View Point. The total journey may cost approximately 300-500 KES for the matatu ride and an additional 200-300 KES for the taxi or boda boda. Ensure to confirm the drop-off point as close to the viewpoint as possible.
