Getting There

  • Bicycle

    Start at the Kisumu city center. Head east towards Kenyatta Highway and take a left onto the highway. Continue straight for about 2 km until you reach the junction with Nyahera Road. Turn right onto Nyahera Road and follow it for approximately 3 km. Look for signs indicating the direction to Abindu Caves. The caves are located in Nyahera, marked by WMRP+MJQ.

    From the Kisumu bus terminal, take a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Nyahera. The fare is approximately 50-100 KES. Inform the driver you want to stop at Abindu Caves. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Nyahera, look for the marked path leading to the caves, located at WMRP+MJQ.
