From the center of Kitale, start at the Kitale Bus Station. Head southeast on Kitale - Suam Road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by several shops and local eateries. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the Kitale - Eldoret Road. Turn left and walk along this road for about 1 kilometer until you see the sign for Koye Dam on your right.

Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Kitale. Start at the Kitale Bus Station and head southeast on Kitale - Suam Road for around 1.5 kilometers. Once you reach the junction with Kitale - Eldoret Road, turn left. Ride along this road for approximately 1 kilometer until you spot the Koye Dam sign on your right. The route is mostly flat, making it suitable for an easy ride.

From the Kitale Bus Station, board a matatu heading towards Suam or Eldoret. Inform the driver that you are going to Koye Dam. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Ask to be dropped off at the junction of Kitale - Eldoret Road. From there, it is about a 1-kilometer walk to the dam, which will be on your right after you walk along the main road.
