If you are starting from the Kitale Town Centre, head northwest along Kenyatta Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Kwanza Road. Turn right onto Kwanza Road and keep walking for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass local shops and eateries along the way. The Kitale Museum will be on your left, just off the road at 2274+95M, Kwanza - Kapenguria Road.

From Kitale Town Centre, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops. Cycle northwest along Kenyatta Street towards Kwanza Road. After reaching Kwanza Road, turn right and pedal for about 1.5 kilometers. Be cautious of traffic and pedestrians. The museum will be on your left at 2274+95M, Kwanza - Kapenguria Road.
Public Transport (Matatu)
Take a matatu (shared minibus) from Kitale Town Centre heading towards Kwanza or Kapenguria. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off near the Kitale Museum stop. The journey will take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Once you disembark, the museum will be a short walk away, just look for the sign for Kitale Museum along Kwanza - Kapenguria Road.
