If you are traveling by car, start from Kitui Town. Head southwest on the Kitui-Kangundo Road (B60) for approximately 36 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Oloosirkon/Sholinke Magadi Road. Turn left onto Oloosirkon/Sholinke Magadi Road and continue for about 10 kilometers. You will see signs directing you to the Olorgesailie Prehistoric Site. The site is located on the left side of the road.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, start by taking a matatu (shared taxi) from Kitui Town to Kajiado Town. The matatus leave from the main bus station in Kitui and the fare is usually around 300 KES. Upon arriving in Kajiado Town, you can hire a motorcycle taxi (boda boda) or take a local taxi to Olorgesailie Prehistoric Site. The distance from Kajiado Town to the site is approximately 15 kilometers, and the fare for a boda boda is around 200-300 KES.
