If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Nanyuki town, which is a common gateway to Laikipia Plateau. Drive on the Nanyuki-Meru road (A2) towards Meru. After about 12 kilometers, look for a sign indicating the turnoff to Ol Lentille. This will lead you onto a dirt road. Follow the dirt road for approximately 8 kilometers until you reach the entrance to Ol Lentille. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain, as the roads can be bumpy.

For those using public transportation, take a matatu (shared minibus) from Nanyuki town toward Meru. Inform the driver that you would like to get off at the turnoff for Ol Lentille; they will drop you at the main road intersection. From there, you will need to arrange for a local boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you the remaining 8 kilometers along the dirt road to Ol Lentille.
