Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Lake Bogoria, start by heading southeast on the main road leading from the lake. Continue on the road for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the junction near the town of Maji Mata. At the junction, turn left and follow the signs towards Maji Mata. After about 5 kilometers, you will reach the area of Maji Mata. Look for the coordinates 73J3+C47 which will lead you to the River/Water Falls. Parking may be available nearby, but ensure that you check for any local regulations regarding vehicle parking in the area.

• Public Transportation

  To reach the River/Water Falls using public transport, start at the main bus station in Lake Bogoria. Look for a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Maji Mata. The fare should be around 100-200 Kenyan Shillings, depending on the distance and the driver. Once you reach Maji Mata, you will need to ask the driver to drop you near the coordinates 73J3+C47. From there, it might be a short walk to the falls, so be prepared with comfortable walking shoes. Ensure to confirm your drop-off point with the driver before embarking on your journey.

  If you are already in Maji Mata, you can walk to the River/Water Falls. From the center of Maji Mata, head towards the coordinates 73J3+C47. The distance is approximately 1-2 kilometers, and it should take about 20-30 minutes on foot. Take care to follow any local paths or inquire with locals for the best route to the falls.
