From the Lamu Fort, head southeast toward the main street (Faza Kenyatta Rd). Walk along the street for about 10 minutes, passing through the vibrant local shops and cafes. You will see signs pointing towards the Lamu Museum. Continue straight until you reach the museum, which will be on your left side.

If you are at the Lamu Old Town, exit the narrow alleyways and make your way to the waterfront. Walk along the coast heading towards the east. After approximately 15 minutes, you will come to Faza Kenyatta Rd. Turn left and walk for another 5 minutes until you see the entrance to the Lamu Museum on your right.

If you are staying near the Lamu Island Airport (Manda Airport), take a boat to the Lamu Jetty. Once you arrive at the jetty, walk straight ahead to the main street. Turn right onto Faza Kenyatta Rd and continue walking for about 20 minutes. You will pass by several local attractions, and soon you will find the Lamu Museum on your left.
