Getting There

Walking

From the center of Shela, head towards the beach by walking down the main path leading to the shoreline. As you approach the beach, turn left and walk along the sandy beach path. Continue walking for about 10-15 minutes, keeping the ocean on your right. Beach House will be situated a short distance ahead, set back slightly from the beach.
Bicycle Rental

If you prefer a quicker option, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Shela. Once you have a bicycle, ride towards the beach, then turn left and cycle along the beach path for about 5-10 minutes. Beach House will be on your right, just off the beach path.
Boat Taxi

Alternatively, you can take a traditional dhow (boat taxi) from Lamu town to Shela. After reaching the Shela beach area, you can either walk towards Beach House or inquire with the boat operators about the best path to reach the hotel. The boat ride costs approximately 300-500 KES per person and takes around 30 minutes.
