Private Vehicle
If you have a rental car or a private vehicle, start your journey from any location in Maasai Mara National Reserve and head towards Narok town. The drive to Narok will take approximately 2 to 3 hours, depending on road conditions. Once you reach Narok, continue on the C12 road towards Nairobi. After about 2 hours, you will join the A104 highway. Follow the A104 for about 1 hour until you reach the outskirts of Nairobi. From there, follow signs to Nairobi National Park, which is located just south of the city center. Look for the entrance on Magadi Road. Note that there may be a park entrance fee of approximately 1,500 KES for adults and 750 KES for children.

Public Transportation (Matatus)
To travel by public transportation, start by finding a matatu (shared taxi) from Maasai Mara to Narok town. This journey will take around 2 to 3 hours. Once in Narok, you will need to take another matatu heading to Nairobi. The Nairobi-bound matatus usually leave from a designated area in Narok town. The ride to Nairobi will take about 2 hours. Upon arriving in Nairobi, you can either take a taxi or an Uber to the entrance of Nairobi National Park. Ensure you confirm the entry fees of around 1,500 KES for adults and 750 KES for children when you arrive at the park.
