Find a tuk-tuk stand in the Malindi town center. Tell the driver you want to go to Vasco da Gama Pillar or simply say 'the pillar near the beach'. The ride should take around 5-10 minutes. The tuk-tuk will drop you off close to the beach where you can easily walk to the Vasco da Gama Pillar.
