Getting There

Matatu

From Mombasa city center, head to the nearest matatu stage, which is usually located near Kenyatta Avenue. Look for a matatu heading to Kisauni or Kiembeni. The fare is typically around 50-100 KSh. Once you are on the matatu, inform the conductor that you want to stop at Kiembeni. The ride should take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Ask the matatu driver or conductor to drop you off at the Kiembeni Road junction.
Boda Boda

After getting off at the Kiembeni Road junction, you can hire a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you directly to Nguuni Nature Sanctuary. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand, which should be around 100-200 KSh for the short distance. The sanctuary is just a few minutes ride from the junction. Provide the driver with the sanctuary's name to ensure they know the location.
Walking
