Getting There

Car
From Mount Longonot, head southeast on the Main Road (B7) towards Naivasha. Continue for about 12 kilometers until you reach the junction for the Suswa area. Turn left onto Suswa Road and follow the signs for Mt Suswa Camping. The camping site is located approximately 5 kilometers down this road. Be mindful of the dirt road conditions as they may vary, and ensure your vehicle is suitable for off-road driving.

Public Transportation
Take a matatu (shared taxi) from Mount Longonot to Naivasha. Matatus depart from the main station and the fare is approximately 100 KES. Upon reaching Naivasha, transfer to a matatu heading towards Suswa. This leg will cost you around 50 KES. Inform the driver that you are going to Mt Suswa Camping. The journey should take about 45 minutes. Once you get off at the Suswa junction, you can walk approximately 5 kilometers to the camping site or hire a local motorcycle taxi (boda boda) for around 200 KES.

Walking
If you are already in the Suswa area and prefer to walk, head southeast from the Suswa junction along Suswa Road. The camping site is approximately 5 kilometers away, and it should take you about an hour to reach on foot. Make sure to carry sufficient water and sun protection as the area can be quite exposed.
