Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Nairobi Railway Station, exit the station and head east towards Uhuru Highway. Cross the road and continue walking along Uhuru Highway for about 1.2 kilometers. You will pass by the Nairobi National Museum on your left. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at Kenyatta Avenue. From the roundabout, take the first exit onto Kenyatta Avenue and walk for about 300 meters until you see the KICC building on your left. The KICC Fountain is located directly in front of the KICC building.

    If you are at the Sarit Centre in Westlands, exit the mall and walk to the Westlands bus terminal. Board a 'city shuttle' bus heading to the city center (look for buses labeled 'CBD'). After about 15 minutes, get off at the Kencom bus stop. From there, walk towards Uhuru Highway, cross the road, and continue walking straight for about 800 meters. You will see the KICC building ahead. The KICC Fountain is in front of the building.

    If you find yourself at the Nairobi National Park entrance, take a 'matatu' (shared taxi) from the park to the city center. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Kencom bus stop, walk towards Uhuru Highway and cross the road. Continue straight for about 800 meters until you reach the KICC building on your left. The KICC Fountain is located right in front of the KICC building.

    From the Nairobi National Museum, exit the museum and walk towards Museum Hill Road. Take a left onto Museum Hill Road and continue walking until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Kenyatta Avenue. Walk for about 1 kilometer until you see the KICC building on your right. The KICC Fountain is located in front of the KICC building.
