    If you are starting from the Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC), exit the KICC and head towards Uhuru Highway. Turn left onto Uhuru Highway and walk for about 10 minutes. As you walk, you will see the Nairobi National Museum on your right. Continue walking until you reach the roundabout at the intersection with Kenyatta Avenue. Take the first exit onto Kenyatta Avenue and walk for about 5 minutes. The Old Standard Bank Building, where the Monument is located, will be on your left.

  • Public Bus

    From the Nairobi Railway Station, take a matatu (public minibus) heading to Kenyatta Avenue. Once you board, inform the conductor that you want to get off at the Old Standard Bank Building. The ride should take approximately 15 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive, the Monument is located adjacent to the Old Standard Bank Building.
