If you are in the central business district (CBD) of Nairobi, start at Kenyatta Avenue. Walk towards Uhuru Highway. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection of Kenyatta Avenue and Uhuru Highway. The Nyayo Monument will be at this junction on your right side. It is a prominent structure and hard to miss.

Public Bus (Matatu)
From the CBD, head to the nearest matatu stage, such as the one at Kenyatta Avenue. Look for matatus heading towards the Eastlands area or those labeled as going to 'Kenyatta National Hospital'. Board the matatu and inform the conductor that you want to alight at the Nyayo Monument. The journey will take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. After getting off, walk towards the junction of Kenyatta Avenue and Uhuru Highway, where you will find the monument.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a nearby bike rental service in the CBD. Head towards Kenyatta Avenue and cycle straight down towards the Uhuru Highway. Stay on the main road, and as you approach the junction of Kenyatta Avenue and Uhuru Highway, you will see the Nyayo Monument on your right. Parking for bicycles is often available near the monument.
