If you are in Naivasha town, start at the Naivasha railway station. From the station, head south on Moi South Lake Road. Walk for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with Kamere Road. Turn left onto Kamere Road and continue walking for another 1 kilometer. You will pass several shops and local eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Kitaru. If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Naivasha town. Begin at the Naivasha bus station and head south on Moi South Lake Road. Continue cycling for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Kamere Road junction. Turn left onto Kamere Road and cycle for another 1 kilometer. To reach Kitaru using public transport, find a matatu heading towards Mai Mahiu from the Naivasha bus station. Get on the matatu and inform the driver that you want to get off at Kamere Road. The journey should take about 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Kamere Road stop, disembark and walk for about 500 meters along Kamere Road.
