If you're in Naivasha town, rent a bicycle from a local shop. Head east on Moi South Lake Road. Continue straight for about 5 kilometers until you reach the entrance to the lake. Turn left at the sign for Watamu Boat Rides Naivasha. Follow the path leading down to the water. The ride will take around 30 minutes depending on your speed.
Walking
From Naivasha town center, walk towards Moi South Lake Road. Head east until you reach the main road junction. Cross the road and continue straight along the path that leads to the lake. It is about a 5-kilometer walk. After about 1 hour, you will arrive at the entrance to Watamu Boat Rides Naivasha, which will be on your left.

From Naivasha town, take a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Lake Naivasha. Board the matatu at the designated matatu stage in town.
