Public Transport (Matatus)
From the center of Nakuru (e.g., Kenyatta Avenue), find a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Lanet. You can ask locals for the nearest matatu stage. Board the matatu and tell the driver you are going to Lake Nakuru Lanet Gate. The fare should be around 50-100 KES. The matatu will take you along the C56 road. Once you reach the Lanet area, ask the driver to drop you at the Lanet Gate junction.

Once dropped off at the Lanet Gate junction, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to reach the Lake Nakuru Lanet Gate. Head down the C56 road, keeping an eye out for the park's entrance signs. The path is relatively straightforward, but be cautious of traffic as it can be busy.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Nakuru. After renting, head towards Kenyatta Avenue and cycle towards the C56 road. Follow the same route as the matatus. It should take you about 10-15 minutes to reach the Lanet Gate junction. Once there, continue cycling along the C56 until you reach the entrance of Lake Nakuru National Park.
