Walking
Start at the Nakuru town center, which is located near Kenyatta Avenue. Head east on Kenyatta Avenue towards the intersection with Moi Road. At the intersection, turn left onto Moi Road. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer, passing various shops and local eateries along the way. After reaching the roundabout, take the first exit onto the Nakuru-Eldoret highway. Walk for approximately 500 meters until you see a sign for the Museum grounds on your left. The entrance to the Museum grounds is located just off the highway.
Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)
Find a Boda Boda stand in Nakuru town, which is typically located near busy areas like Kenyatta Avenue. Negotiate a fare with the rider for a trip to Museum grounds. Once you are on the motorcycle, instruct the rider to take you to the Museum grounds located at M4WH+PX, Nakuru. The ride should take about 10 minutes depending on traffic. The Boda Boda will drop you off right at the entrance of the Museum grounds.
Public Transport (Matatu)
From Nakuru town center, locate a Matatu (shared minibus) that is heading towards the Nakuru-Eldoret route. Board the Matatu and pay the fare, which is generally affordable. Ask the conductor to drop you off at the nearest stop to the Museum grounds, specifically at M4WH+PX. The journey may take around 15-20 minutes. Once you get off, walk towards the entrance of the Museum grounds, which should be visible from the Matatu stop.
