After approximately 50 kilometers, you will reach a junction. Turn left (east) onto the B6 road. Continue on this road for about 30 kilometers until you reach the Ololokwe area. Look for signs indicating the direction to Mt. Ololokwe. The last few kilometers may require driving on a dirt road, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Keep an eye out for local guides and signs as you approach the mountain.
Public Transportation
To reach Mt. Ololokwe using public transportation, first take a matatu (shared minibus) from Isiolo to Archer's Post. This journey will take about 1.5 to 2 hours, and matatus frequently depart from the Isiolo bus station.
