From the center of Shaba, take the road leading north towards the Samburu Intrepids, which is located approximately 15 kilometers from the main entrance of the reserve. The route is well-marked, and you will see signs guiding you to Samburu Intrepids. Ensure to keep an eye out for wildlife crossing the road.

Public transportation options within Shaba National Reserve are limited, but you can look for shared minibuses or local matatus that operate between various lodges in the area. If you find a matatu heading towards the Samburu region, inform the driver of your destination, Samburu Intrepids. Once you get dropped off at the nearest point, you may need to walk approximately 2 kilometers to reach the lodge.
