If you are traveling by car, start on the A104 road heading towards Tsavo East National Park. Continue on the A104 for approximately 30 kilometers. Look for the signs to Mudanda Rock, which is located near the entrance of Tsavo East National Park. Follow the dirt road leading to Mudanda Rock, which is about 10 kilometers from the main road. The area is well-marked, so you should see signs directing you to Mudanda Rock as you approach.
Public Transportation
To reach Mudanda Rock using public transportation, you can take a matatu (shared taxi) from Voi town. Head to the Voi matatu stage and look for a matatu that is heading to Tsavo East National Park or to the Mudanda area. The fare should be around 300-500 Kenyan Shillings. Inform the driver you want to get off at Mudanda Rock. Once you arrive, you may need to walk approximately 2 kilometers to reach the actual site of Mudanda Rock, as public transport may not reach the exact location.
