Getting There

    If you are driving from a location in Turkana Basin, you will need to head south towards Nairobi. Take the A1 highway and continue for approximately 700 km. Once you reach Nairobi, follow signs for Lang'ata Road. Duma Road is located near the Giraffe Centre. Look for the Giraffe Centre sign on Duma Road which should be on your right. Parking is available at the centre.

    To travel by bus, head to the nearest bus station in Turkana Basin and board a bus heading to Nairobi. The journey may take 10-12 hours depending on the bus service. Once you arrive in Nairobi, you can take a taxi or a matatu (shared taxi) to the Giraffe Centre. Inform the driver to drop you off at Duma Road.
