Matatu (Shared Minibus)
From the Nairobi city center, make your way to the Kencom bus station. Look for matatus heading towards Ngong. You can take matatu number 111 or 34. The fare is approximately 50-100 KES. The journey will take about 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Once you reach Ngong town, alight at the Ngong Town stage.

After alighting at Ngong Town stage, walk towards the main road (Ngong Road). Head southeast for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the entrance to Ngong Road Forest Sanctuary. You will see signs directing you to the sanctuary. The walk should take around 20-25 minutes.

Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)
Alternatively, you can take a boda boda from Ngong Town stage directly to Ngong Road Forest Sanctuary. Negotiate the fare (typically around 100-200 KES) before starting your ride. The distance is about 1.5 kilometers, and the ride should take about 5-10 minutes.
