Car
If you're driving, start from the center of Watamu. Head west on Malindi-Watamu Road (B8) towards Turtle Bay Road. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, turn left onto Turtle Bay Road. Watamu Treehouse will be on your left after about 1 kilometer. Look for the sign at the entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach Watamu Treehouse by public transport, take a matatu (shared minibus) from the Watamu bus station heading towards Malindi. Inform the conductor that you are going to Turtle Bay. Once you reach Turtle Bay, ask to be dropped off at the Turtle Bay Road junction. From there, you can either walk about 1 kilometer along Turtle Bay Road towards the Watamu Treehouse or hire a tuk-tuk, which should cost around 100-200 Kenyan Shillings.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Turtle Bay, you can walk to Watamu Treehouse. Start at Turtle Bay Beach and head south on Turtle Bay Road. The Treehouse is approximately 1 kilometer away. It’s an easy walk, and you can enjoy the scenery along the way.
