Walking
If you are starting from the center of Mitrovica, head east towards the main road, known as 'Bulevardi i Pavarësisë'. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with 'Rruga e Dëshmorëve'. Turn left onto this road and follow it until you reach the bus station on your right. From the bus station, you can take a local bus to Vushtrri. Once you arrive in Vushtrri, you will need to walk towards the fortress. Exit the bus and head south on 'Hoxhë Kadri Prishtina' street. The fortress will be located at the top of the hill on your left. The walk from the bus stop to the fortress will take around 15 minutes.

From Mitrovica, walk to the main bus station located near the city center. Look for buses heading towards Vushtrri; they usually depart frequently. Purchase a ticket from the kiosk or directly from the driver. The bus ride to Vushtrri takes approximately 30 minutes. Once in Vushtrri, disembark at the main stop. After exiting the bus, proceed south on 'Hoxhë Kadri Prishtina' street towards the fortress, which should be visible on the hill. The walk to the fortress will take about 15 minutes.
