To reach the Grand Mosque of Kuwait via public bus, locate the nearest bus stop in Kuwait City. You can take bus number 501 or 502, which have stops in various parts of the city. Ensure you board the bus going towards Sharq. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Ask the driver or other passengers to alert you when you reach the stop for the Grand Mosque, located at 25, Kuwait City. Once you disembark, the mosque is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Just follow the signs towards the mosque.

Walking
If you are already in the Sharq area, walking to the Grand Mosque is a great option. From the Sharq Souq, head south on Ahmad Al-Jaber Street. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach the intersection with Khalid Ibn Al-Walid Street. Turn left onto Khalid Ibn Al-Walid Street, and you'll see the Grand Mosque on your right after about 500 meters. The mosque is easily recognizable with its grand architecture.

For a more comfortable journey, you can take a taxi to the Grand Mosque. Simply flag down a taxi from any street in Kuwait City or use a ride-hailing app. Provide the driver with the address: '25, Kuwait City, Sharq.' The ride should take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic conditions. The taxi will drop you off right at the entrance of the mosque.
