From the center of Cholpon-Ata, head east on Abdrakhmanov Street towards the main road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Ak-Tilek Street. Turn left and walk down Ak-Tilek Street until you reach the waterfront area. Once you are at the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul, follow the path along the lake towards the south. Keep walking for about 15-20 minutes until you see the Ala-Too resort area. Look for the large sign that says 'Ala-Too' or ask locals for directions if needed.
