If you are driving to Tad Faed Waterfall, start from Attapeu town. Head southeast on Route 16 towards Sanamxay. Continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach the town of Sanamxay. From there, turn onto Route 18, which leads you towards the waterfall. Follow the signs to Tad Faed Waterfall, which is located approximately 15 kilometers off Route 18. The drive should take around 1 hour in total, depending on road conditions. There will be a small parking fee at the entrance of the waterfall area.

Public Transportation
To reach Tad Faed Waterfall by public transportation, start at the main bus station in Attapeu town. Look for local buses or songthaews heading towards Sanamxay. The fare should be around 20,000 LAK (approximately $2). Once you arrive in Sanamxay, you can hire a tuk-tuk to take you to the waterfall. Negotiate the fare beforehand, which should be around 50,000 to 100,000 LAK (approximately $5 to $10) depending on your negotiation skills. The tuk-tuk ride will take about 30 minutes to reach the waterfall entrance.

For those who are adventurous and want to explore the area on a motorbike, you can rent one in Attapeu town. The rental cost is usually around 100,000 LAK per day (approximately $10). Follow the same route as you would by car, heading southeast on Route 16 towards Sanamxay. After about 30 kilometers, turn onto Route 18 and continue for another 15 kilometers until you reach the waterfall. Make sure to wear a helmet and drive carefully, as road conditions may vary.
