If you are traveling by car, begin your journey from the center of Attapeu Province. Head east on Route 18, which is the main road. Continue driving for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction for Route 18A. Take the left turn onto Route 18A and follow the signs for Tad Hua Gan Waterfall. The road will lead you through beautiful countryside and small villages. After about 8 kilometers, you will see signs directing you to the waterfall. There is a parking area available near the entrance. Note that road conditions may vary, so drive cautiously.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a minivan from the main bus station in Attapeu to the nearby town of Sanamxay. This trip typically takes around 1 hour and costs approximately 20,000 LAK (about $2). Once in Sanamxay, you can hire a tuk-tuk to take you to Tad Hua Gan Waterfall, which is about 10 kilometers away. The tuk-tuk ride will cost around 50,000 to 100,000 LAK (approximately $5 to $10) depending on your negotiation skills. Make sure to ask the driver to wait for you while you explore the waterfall, or arrange a return time.
