Car
If you are driving a car, start from the center of Attapeu town. Head southeast on Route 16 towards Sanamxay. After approximately 15 km, look for a sign indicating the turnoff for ນ້ຳຕົກຕາດຫຍ້າTardGnah waterfall. Turn right onto the unpaved road and continue for about 5 km until you reach the parking area near the waterfall. Please note that the road may be rough, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended.
Public Transportation
To reach ນ້ຳຕົກຕາດຫຍ້າTardGnah waterfall using public transportation, take a local bus from Attapeu to Sanamxay. Buses leave regularly from the main bus station and the fare is usually around 20,000 LAK. Upon reaching Sanamxay, you can hire a tuk-tuk (approximately 50,000 LAK) to take you to the waterfall entrance. The tuk-tuk ride will take around 30 minutes. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and have already arrived at the waterfall's parking area or the drop-off point from your tuk-tuk, you can walk the remaining distance to the waterfall. The hike is about 1 km through scenic paths and can take around 20-30 minutes. Wear comfortable walking shoes and be prepared for some uneven terrain.
