Car
If you are driving from Luang Prabang city center, head south on Route 13. Continue for approximately 3 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 23. Turn left onto Route 23 and continue for about 7 kilometers. You will see signs for Ban Vieng Mai along the way. Once you reach Ban Vieng Mai, follow the local roads towards Sa Sa Beach, which is located near the riverbank. There is parking available near the beach.

Public Transportation (Tuk-Tuk)
To reach Sa Sa Beach via a tuk-tuk, head to the main tuk-tuk station in Luang Prabang, located near the Night Market. Negotiate a fare with the driver to take you to Ban Vieng Mai, which should cost around 50,000 to 100,000 LAK (approximately $5 to $10) depending on how many passengers are sharing the ride. The tuk-tuk will take you directly to the beach area. Be sure to ask the driver to drop you off at Sa Sa Beach specifically.
