Bus
From Luang Prabang, head to the main bus station (Naluang Bus Station). You can reach the station by walking or taking a tuk-tuk. Once at the bus station, board a bus heading towards Vientiane. The journey takes approximately 6 to 7 hours. Ensure to check the bus schedule and buy your ticket in advance. Upon arrival in Vientiane, you will be dropped off at the main bus station.

Walking and Public Transport
After arriving at the Vientiane bus station, take a tuk-tuk or a taxi to get to Chao Anou Vong Road in the Chanthabouly District. The tuk-tuk ride should take around 15 minutes. Once you reach Chao Anou Vong Road, look for the MAG UXO Visitor Information Centre, which should be nearby. You can ask the driver to drop you off at the MAG centre or use a map application on your phone to navigate directly.

If you prefer not to take the bus, you can book a private tuk-tuk to take you from Luang Prabang to Vientiane. Agree on a price beforehand, and enjoy the scenic ride.
