Walking
From the center of Luang Prabang's old town, the Ancient Luang Prabang Hotel is easily accessible on foot. Head east from the main street (Sisavangvong Road), towards Sakarin Road. The hotel is located on Sakarin Road, a short walk from major landmarks and temples. Walking allows you to soak in the atmosphere of the town.
Taxi
Taxis and tuk-tuks are readily available throughout Luang Prabang. From Luang Prabang International Airport (LPQ), a taxi to the hotel costs a fixed fare of approximately $7 (152,000 LAK). The journey takes around 15 minutes. From the city center, a short tuk-tuk ride should cost around $3 (65,000 LAK), but negotiation may be required.
Public Transport
Luang Prabang has e-Buses that service the city. The Yellow Line runs a loop from the National Stadium to the Central Tourist District and passes many of the city's hotels and guesthouses.
