From the center of Luang Namtha, the most direct way to Nam Dee is by foot, though it is a considerable distance. Head northeast on the main road, Route 17A. Follow the road for approximately 5.5 km. The walk should take around 1-1.5 hours. There are no entrance fees for walking into the village, but there may be a small fee to access the waterfall area.

Tuk-tuks are readily available in Luang Namtha. Negotiate a price with the driver before starting your journey to Nam Dee. A typical one-way fare should be around 50,000-80,000 LAK, depending on your negotiation skills. The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. This price includes the ride to the village; entrance fees to the waterfall are separate.

Motorbike/Bicycle
Rent a motorbike or bicycle from one of the rental shops in Luang Namtha. Bicycle rentals start from 10,000 LAK, while motorbikes range from 50,000-80,000 LAK per day. Follow Route 17A northeast for about 5.5 km. The ride is relatively easy and takes around 15 minutes by motorbike or 30-45 minutes by bicycle. Parking near the village entrance is usually free.
