Motorbike/Tuk-tuk
From Luang Namtha town, hire a tuk-tuk or rent a motorbike. Head approximately 6 km northeast towards Ban Nam Dee village. The ride takes about 20 minutes. The road is mostly paved but may have some rough sections. Upon arrival in Ban Nam Dee, follow signs to the waterfall entrance. Pay the entrance fee of 10,000 LAK (approximately $2.30 USD) per person. Tuk-tuk fare: 50,000-80,000 LAK roundtrip, including wait time. Motorbike rental: 80,000-120,000 LAK per day.
Walking
For a more adventurous approach, consider walking from Luang Namtha town. Follow the road towards Ban Nam Dee village. The walk is approximately 6 km and takes about 1.5-2 hours. Be prepared for a moderately challenging hike with some uphill sections. Once in Ban Nam Dee, follow signs to the waterfall entrance and pay the 10,000 LAK entrance fee. Ensure you have water and sun protection for the trek. Cost: 10,000 LAK entrance fee.
