Car
From the main city center of Muang Xai, take Road 1 towards the northwest. Continue on this road for about 10 kilometers. You will see signs indicating the direction to the Giant Tree. Turn left onto a smaller road (M3CV+VQP) and follow it for another kilometer until you reach the parking area. Make sure to have a map or GPS enabled as the signage may be limited.
Public Transportation
Catch a local bus or songthaew (shared taxi) from the Muang Xai bus station heading towards the north. Inform the driver that you are going to the Giant Tree. The fare should be around 10,000 LAK. The journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes. You will need to get off at the nearest drop-off point, which is about 1 kilometer from the Giant Tree. From there, you can either walk or hire a bike from locals to reach the site.
