If you are driving from Phakse, head northeast on Route 13 for about 30 kilometers. You will pass through picturesque countryside. Look for signage indicating Tham Nam, as you will need to take a right turn onto a smaller road about 5 kilometers before reaching Vientiane. Follow this road for approximately 10 kilometers until you arrive at the entrance to Tham Nam. Parking is available on-site.

To reach Tham Nam using public transport, take a minibus or songthaew from Phakse to Vientiane. The journey takes around 4-5 hours.
