Getting There

Walking
From the center of Phonsavan, head north on the main street (Sengsavang Road). Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with Route 7. At this junction, turn left onto Route 7 and walk for another 1.5 kilometers. Look for signs directing you towards Nong Khiaw. After reaching the sign, you can take a right onto a smaller road that leads to a footpath. Follow this footpath up the hill for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Nong Khiaw Viewpoint.

Begin at the main market in Phonsavan and rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Cycle north along Sengsavang Road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the Route 7 junction.
