Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Sainyabuli. Head east on Route 4 towards the town of Silalek. Continue for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach the location marked as M32H+Q28. As you approach Silalek, look for signs indicating Kacham Waterfall. There may be a small parking area available near the waterfall entrance. The drive should take around 30-40 minutes, depending on road conditions.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a local bus or shared taxi from Sainyabuli to Silalek. The buses typically depart from the main bus station in Sainyabuli. The journey will take around 40-50 minutes, and you should expect to pay a small fare, usually around 15,000-20,000 LAK (Lao Kip). Once in Silalek, you can either walk or hire a motorbike taxi to take you to Kacham Waterfall, which is about 5 kilometers from the town center. The motorbike taxi fare should be approximately 10,000-15,000 LAK.
Motorbike Rental
If you prefer more flexibility, consider renting a motorbike in Sainyabuli. The rental cost is usually around 50,000-100,000 LAK per day. Follow the same directions as for cars: take Route 4 towards Silalek. Once you arrive in Silalek, continue to the waterfall location at M32H+Q28. Make sure to have a valid driving license and wear a helmet while riding. The journey will take about 30 minutes.
