If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Savannakhet city. Head east on Route 9 (also known as the National Road 9) towards the border with Vietnam. Continue for approximately 35 kilometers until you reach the town of Tat Hai. Once in Tat Hai, follow the signs to Tad Hai Bridge. Look for the coordinates 7XJ4+PVR on your navigation system to ensure you are headed in the right direction. The road is generally well-paved, but be cautious of local traffic and road conditions.
Public Transportation
For those relying on public transportation, start by taking a local bus or minivan from Savannakhet city to Tat Hai. Buses typically depart from the central bus station, with tickets costing around 20,000 LAK (approximately 2 USD). The journey will take about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Tat Hai, you may need to hire a tuk-tuk or motorbike taxi to reach the Tad Hai Bridge, which should cost an additional 10,000 to 20,000 LAK. Ensure to confirm the price before starting the ride.
