If you are driving from Savannakhet city, head east on Route 9 towards the town of Champhon. Continue on Route 9 for approximately 38 kilometers until you reach the junction for Route 13. Turn left onto Route 13 and drive for about 10 kilometers. You will then see signs pointing to Turtle Lake (ໜອງປາຝາ). Follow the signs for another 5 kilometers until you reach the lake. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel as there are limited service stations along the way.

To reach Turtle Lake (ໜອງປາຝາ) via public transportation, start at the Savannakhet bus station. Look for a bus heading towards Champhon. Buses run regularly, and the fare is usually around 20,000 LAK per person. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Champhon, you can take a tuk-tuk or a local taxi to Turtle Lake, which is approximately 15 kilometers from the bus drop-off point. The taxi or tuk-tuk ride should cost around 50,000 to 70,000 LAK.

From Savannakhet city, take a bus to Champhon, as mentioned earlier. After arriving in Champhon, if you prefer a more adventurous route, you can opt to walk the remaining 15 kilometers to Turtle Lake. This will take approximately 3-4 hours on foot.
