Continue for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with the road leading to the Blue Lagoon. Turn right onto this road and follow it for about 2 kilometers. You will see signs indicating the way to Phapoak Mountain. Keep walking until you reach the entrance of the mountain trail. The total walking distance is approximately 3 kilometers from the center of Vang Vieng.

    Rent a bicycle from one of the many shops in Vang Vieng. Start from the center of town and cycle northwest along the main road, passing the market. After about 1 kilometer, turn right at the junction that leads towards the Blue Lagoon. Continue cycling for about 2 kilometers, following the signs to Phapoak Mountain. The bike ride is scenic and should take around 15-20 minutes. Park your bicycle at the trailhead, and prepare for your hike.
