Walking
Start your journey from the center of Vang Vieng, at the main street where most of the restaurants and shops are located. Head northwest on the main road, passing by the Vang Vieng Market. Continue for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with the road leading to the Blue Lagoon. Turn right onto this road and follow it for about 2 kilometers. You will see signs indicating the way to Phapoak Mountain. Keep walking until you reach the entrance of the mountain trail. The total walking distance is approximately 3 kilometers from the center of Vang Vieng.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the many shops in Vang Vieng. Start from the center of town and cycle northwest along the main road, passing the market. After about 1 kilometer, turn right at the junction that leads towards the Blue Lagoon. Continue cycling for about 2 kilometers, following the signs to Phapoak Mountain. The bike ride is scenic and should take around 15-20 minutes. Park your bicycle at the trailhead, and prepare for your hike.

Tuk-tuk
Find a tuk-tuk at one of the main pickup points in Vang Vieng, like near the main street or market. Negotiate the fare with the driver to take you to Phapoak Mountain. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes. Ensure you tell the driver 'Phapoak Mountain' or show them a map if you have one. They will drop you off at the entrance of the mountain trail.
