Car
If you're driving, start from the center of Cēsis. Head northwest on Rīgas iela towards Jāņa Poruka iela. Continue on Rīgas iela for about 1 kilometer. After passing Cēsis Castle, take a slight right onto Pārgaujas iela. Follow this road for about 300 meters until you reach a small parking area near the Wooden stairs located at 75GP+V5. Ensure to check for any parking fees that may apply.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take a local bus from the Cēsis bus station. Look for a bus heading towards Cēsu novads. Once you arrive at the nearest stop, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the Wooden stairs, head northwest along Pārgaujas iela for about 1 kilometer. Follow the signs to the Wooden stairs located at 75GP+V5. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time for departure times.
Walking
For those already in Cēsis who want to enjoy a scenic walk, you can start at the Cēsis Castle. From the castle, walk northwest down Rīgas iela until you reach the intersection with Pārgaujas iela. Turn right onto Pārgaujas iela and continue for about 1 kilometer. The Wooden stairs will be located on your left at 75GP+V5. This route will take approximately 20-25 minutes on foot.
