Car
If you're driving to Riga Castle from any part of the Daugava River Valley, head towards the A6 highway. Follow the A6 until you reach the exit for Rīga. Once you enter the city, follow the signs for the Central District. As you approach the city center, look for Pils laukums, where the castle is located. There are parking facilities nearby, but be aware of parking regulations.
Public Transport
To reach Riga Castle using public transportation, take a bus or train from your location in the Daugava River Valley to Rīga. If you're taking a train, get off at the Rīga Central Station. From there, you can catch tram number 5 or bus number 22, which will take you to the city center. Get off at the stop called "Brīvības piemineklis". From there, it's a short walk to Pils laukums. Just head towards the monument, and the castle will be to your left.
