Getting there

Train

From Jurmala, head to the Majori train station. You can either walk or take a local bus to reach the station. Once at Majori station, purchase a ticket to Rīga. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes. Once you arrive at Rīga Central station, exit the station and head towards the city center. Follow the signs directing you towards 'Centra rajons' and walk about 15 minutes to reach Meistaru iela 10/12, where the Cat House is located.

Bus

From your location in Jurmala, find the nearest bus stop for the local bus service. Take bus number 1, 2 or 3 towards Rīga. The journey will take around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Disembark at the 'Autoosta' (Bus Station) stop. From there, walk towards the city center along Brivibas iela, which will lead you to Meistaru iela. It’s about a 15-minute walk to reach the Cat House at Meistaru iela 10/12.

Bicycle

If you are feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Jurmala. Cycle along the coastal bike paths heading towards Rīga, which offers a scenic view. Follow the signs directing you to Rīga, and when you reach the city, navigate towards the Central District. Once you arrive in the city, continue to Meistaru iela 10/12, where the Cat House is located. The journey may take around 1 hour, depending on your cycling speed.

Walking

If you are up for a long walk, you can walk directly from Jurmala to the Cat House. Start from the beach and walk along the coast until you reach the Rīga city limits. Continue walking towards the center of Rīga, following the signs for the Central District. Once you reach Brivibas iela, turn onto Meistaru iela. The Cat House at Meistaru iela 10/12 will be on your left. This walk is approximately 10 kilometers and may take around 2 hours.
