From any point in Jurmala, make your way to the nearest bus stop. Look for buses heading towards Jelgava. You can take either bus number 200 or 220, which frequently operate on this route. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Disembark at the 'Jelgava' bus stop. From there, walk along Lielā iela toward Lielā iela 2, which is the location of Jelgava Castle.

Head to the nearest train station in Jurmala, which is 'Jurmala-Dubulti' or 'Jurmala-Kemeri'. Purchase a ticket for a train heading to Jelgava. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Jelgava train station, exit the station and walk towards Lielā iela. Follow Lielā iela for about 10-15 minutes until you reach Lielā iela 2, where Jelgava Castle is located.
